Mindbloom
Helping clients access self-care faster with an optimized mental health app.

Background
Mindbloom, the largest provider of psychedelic medicine, offers ketamine therapy combining evidence-based medicine with coaching and community. After a rebrand by Landscape and realizing their app was outdated, they partnered with Catalog to align the product with the new brand. We focused on enhancing efficiency while ensuring the app remained safe, approachable, and effective for a diverse audience.
Insight
Users need a platform that makes it easy to navigate mental health care, reducing uncertainty and friction while helping them feel supported and confident in starting their wellness journey.

Part 1 — Onboarding Redesign
During an initial audit of the existing app, we identified a critical friction point in the core user flow — a step that was causing unnecessary drop-off and uncertainty for users navigating their treatment journey.
We redesigned the affected screens to align with Mindbloom's refreshed brand, tightening the experience and removing ambiguity so users could move through the app with confidence.

Part 2 — Intake Flow Redesign
The second phase focused on Mindbloom's intake flow — the onboarding experience new patients go through before starting treatment. We began with a thorough audit of each step, mapping drop-off points and identifying where the form logic created confusion.
From there, we redesigned and implemented the updated flow in Formsort, balancing clinical requirements with a tone that felt safe, supportive, and approachable for a vulnerable audience.
